Hi, when I am editing with the time-line expanded more than one screen, my mouse will sometimes scroll uncontrollably to the left, then lock up against the left hand side of the screen. It will not move again. Likewise, the keyboard is also locked within VideoFactory with only the spacebar working to play and stop. No other functions work.

The mouse is locked for all other programs as well, but the CTL-ALT-DEL does allow the processes dialog to appear and I can exit the program, but this does not restore mouse/keyboard function. Fortunately, a dialog does allow me to save my work, but I must reboot to restore function. No other programs I have run on my computer exhibit this particular quirk.

I have a microsoft 3 button mouse (PS2) on a 1G HP 8860 Pavillion with an 80G 7200 RPM IDE drive and 256 meg of memory. I have the latest update (2.0c) of Factory and updated bios for the computer.

This happens frequently and is mondo annoying. I am happy with the software otherwise (with the exception of the MPEG plug-ins, which work well for rendering, but are crap for anything else).

Any assistance on this would be appreciated.
