Will Demux VOB Still Be 5.1 ?

Can somebody tell me if you demux a vob file into seperater streams and then put that in vv4 and finally burn a dvd in dvd architecture, will the sound still come out in 5.1 surround sound ? I've seen several posts about how to spit out the streams, but will I have 5.1 in the finished dvd or will it just be in stereo ?

You cannot bring AC3 into VV, you need to split the AC3 into separate tracks and bring them into VV and assign them to the appropriate positions. I've use BeSweet to mix down AC3 to WAV with great success and from memory it will handle a channel by channel split. You also need to reduce the dynamic range possibly as well.
