Will It Work With 64 Bit

Sorry if I over looked. My PC crashed and I was forced to get a new one. Its a Dell Studio XPS 71000. My old one was a 32 Bit and this one is a 64 Bit. I didnt think anything about it until I tried to run some of my old software. I found out Sony Movie Studio 10 will not work which is a bummer, so no use updating to 11 if Architect will not work. Thanks.

Most modern software works in a 64 bit environment. The main exceptions are 32 bit plugins. That means that you need to run the 32 bit version of that software (if it exists) to use the 32 bit plugins.

Most software has trial versions you can download and check to see if there are any compatibility problems. If you are wondering specifically about Vegas Movie Studio 11, then I think you should be safe, but certainly check out the trial version first before committing money.

I am running VMS 10 in Windows 7 64 with no problems, as are many others, I believe.
