Believe they both conform to standard avi file types, so they should coexist fine. I've had Studio DV, an older and therefore to be expected less compatible program, on multiple computers with no problems..
I'm glad that someone had good luck with it. I could get a dozen or so scenes edited before things just started going nuts. Scenes disappeared, volume changed, scenes reveresed, and worse. And Pinnacle never bothered to answer most of my inquires for or pleas for help. The board, on the other hand, works just fine with VV3.
Sounds like a problem with Pinnacle's device. You might check their forums, which are excellent, and see if anyone there has had a similiar problem. You might also try uninstalling, and then reinstalling both VV3 and Studio. Lots of times this fixes weird problems like yours..(You might also try reinstalling your OS, saving your settings, of course, to freshen things up-surprising how often this fixes things)
