I have upgraded my PC with an Nvidia 5080, which has improved hardware acceleration for 10-bit HEVC (H.265) video encoding, including 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, which has greatly improved the performance of Davinci Resolve when I work with Canon 10-bit HEVC H.265 video files. Vegas Pro 22 gets better timeline playback with 10-bit HEVC 4:2:2 video files, but rendering to either 4k or 1080p is slower with the Nvidia 5080 GPU than it was with my previous Nvidia 3070Ti GPU.
