I'd say it would support duel core P4's if it could support duel core AMD's. Amazing what competitions will make intel do, huh? :0

I thought intel abandoned trying to get past 4gh\?

"Running at 4 GHz" isn't exactly getting past it. Intel is actually getting their dual core desktop processors out first but I think AMD has a less "quick and dirty" design in mind. Not that I'm in a rush but I did just upgrade to a skt939 Athlon64 board thinking I'd upgrade the CPU to dual core sometime soon. Even if it didn't benefit Vegas, I have other tasks it'd benefit from. Both Dreamweaver and Outlook tend to plug up my system so it'd be nice to keep working while they bumble along.

For that, I don't even need to get the fastest CPU. I just want to be able to keep working.
