Will VMS be able to import DVR-MS files ?

I guess my question is,,, When will VMS be able to import and edit DVR-MS files? Or is it best to convert to AVI ? Any thoughts?

That's a proprietary format, so it may never happen. I suggest you import your files via the Vegas capture method so you can have them in DV AVI format.
