WIN2000 and busses

Have there been any issues with Windows 2000 and # of
output busses with any sound card?

Found the problem....

Win2000 limits the number of devices to 10 Wave out and 10 Wave in.
(Same for MIDI!!!)

So it seems that MS has taken a step backward again....

Correct. This is a limitation of the KMixer emlulation of Wave audio.
The DPSF Win2000 drivers appear to be WDM based.

I tested with the Win2000 drivers that Yamaha has made available. I
can only see the 10 devices in Vegas.

Regardless, the problem is not with Vegas, but with the DSPF drivers
and the Kernel Streaming driver model/emulation in Windows.
