I have just installed win2000 and have the latest drivers
for matrox g400dlhd vid card. When i open up the track
insert fx's,my chain of fxs that are listed have blurred
colored lines on them{purple} that will not go away. They
are only on the top of the box where the chain is listed.
Nothing else is affected.
I really cannot figure this one out.
Any clues anyone?
My desk top at 16bit will only show up as 1600x60 I think
it is.Refresh rate comes up 60 everytime.
Is there something I am missing?
I have not put in sp 1 yet though.
Any help please.

I'm running the same setup and have found that you have to
be very careful with how you tweak the custom settings for
the g400 under Win2k.

For starters, turn "Multi display controls" off (if you can
stand it). At the very least don't install or run any SF
app or MS office the first time with Multi Display controls
on (same for any other software using the Microsoft 2000
installer components). Known Matrox bug.

Also, for best results set the res at 2048x768 for two
monitors, and turn bus mastering off.

Thanx for suggestions
I was told by matrox to load in driver 5.04 instead of most
current. They said there might be something wrong with
latest at least for my setup.I will let ya know what
happens.
