Anyone care to take a crack at this one?
9.0 64-bit loaded just fine on my awesome Win7 laptop, but since the update to 9.0a, it crashes right upon loading. Oddly, I have to enable the Windows Vista SP2 compatibility mode switch in Properties to get it to load. Perhaps unrelatedly, I also have been seeing some seemingly new issues with creating audio peaks for some isolated video files (problems which are not present in the 32-bit version).
I just finished with a clean install of all my Sony Creative Software products last night... it did nothing to fix the problem, sadly. I don't even get an "official" Vegas crash (with the bug reporting option and all that)... it just tells me the generic Windows "Vegas Pro 9 has stopped working".
It's really frustrating! Thanks for any and all help...
