Wind noise

I recently shot some outside video and I have a lot of wind noise. Will Vegas Video 4.0 or Sound Forge 6.0 remove this noise and if so what filters should I use?

Sorry but more than likely not nor will any other software.

Noise Reduction or notched EQ filters will work on sustained frequencies but wind noise is all over the spectrum. Any attempt to remove the frequencies occupied by the wind noise will also remove the wanted material but no harm in trying other than lost time.
