I just recenty put windows 2000 on my computer and i want to be able to install the capture update so I can capture still images and I also want to be able to save as the .mpg format. I have direct x 8.1 for windows 2000 installed but neither of the updates will work. It says i need direct x 8.0 and the DV update, I cannot install the DV update because it says I need direct x 8.0. Is the DV update not compatible with win 2000? What is the solution, any help would greatly be appreciated.
