i was always able to use cd architect with my burner
before... but since i've upgraded to windows 2000, the
software no longer sees my cd-r... other software (adaptec,
etc) works fine with the recorder, but i don't understand
why it no longer automatically detects it... any help would
be appreciated... i just need to burn my stuff... heh...
thanks...

Mr Chang,
I just installed Win/2000 also, FYI for everyone, If you have
symantec softwear installed, REMOVE IT before you install Win2000!If
not, your system will crash and burn hard and fast.I ended up
reinstalling cd architect and sound forge after I installed Win2000
as a Full install, not as a upgrade from Win98.All my sonic foundry
softwear is running with no problems, even better then when I was
running 98.I had a problem installing Adaptec at first, but it took
on the second try...Once again try the clean install for 2000, not
the upgrade from 98, Worked for me just fine.......
