Windows 7/64 bit

I recently upgraded from XP to Windows 7/64 Ultimate. When loading old projects With Vegas Pro 9, the Sony track plug-ins:

Noise Gate
EQ
Compressor

fail to load. Do they work under 64 bit Windows?

Sounds like you have a corrupt installation.

The same no plugin thing happened when I installed Vegas 7 once.

You're probably going to have to uninstall, clean out your registry, and delete all the old installation files in order to get a clean install.

You might also check to see which version of Vegas you are running 32-bit or 64-bit. Some of the fx work in 32-bit but don't in 64-bit. Noise Reuction 2 is an example. Another is Wave Hammer. Only the Surround version works in the 64-bit verison of Vegas. I have installed both versions on my 64-bit W7 machine so I can still use the plug-ins that only work in 32-bit mode.
