Just finished up a 30 hour render and was initally mortified to discover that the end result was probably the worst render ever with extreme jittering and out of synch playback. Blame it on Windows. I rebooted and playback is now fine.
Our friends at Microsoft tell us that low system resources under XP should be a thing of the past because heap space is no longer limited. Well sorry, that's hogwash or a simple reboot would not cure this case of the 'jitters' where apparently Windows didn't have enough left to properly play back the video. So if after a long rendering session where you may have been using your PC heavily (I was) and things don't look right, try a reboot and things will be probably be fine. <wink>
