Windows Defender error message while downloading

I'm told that the program Vegas 17 platinum. will do damage to my computer by Microsoft defender. Any answers here?

Yess that's because it is very new, in a few weeks it wil be gone, but also the developers are talking about this with Microsoft.
There are no problems.

I also had an alert from Defender but I was happy with the source of the application, Vegas, and continued without any problems.
