Windows Media Audio/Video

Curious..
I'm doing a webpage to post audio and vidio files. Instead of a blank screen for the audio I figuered I'd do a fast and easy Text background in VV and make the file .wmv instead of .wma.

Check it yourself at http://www.themessageplace.com/fosko

Well, the video resolution doesn't come out very well. I guess I could play with the fonts. and also.. don't need to put so much info in the video window.

What's also curious is ..then I had this as an audio file it seemed to be almost twice as large as when I added video. Perhaps that's becasue the Audip file was done at 44k and the .wmv was done at 22k. still I thought the video would have added to the size.

The video should add a lot to the size... did you render a WMA to compare?

You might consider embedding the audio into the page and put some nice pix up there to look at, or spawn a player and encourage visitors to browse the page while they listen.

yeah, I did go from .wmz to .wmv.
LOL .. actually it was YOUR suggestion that made me think about people looking at the blank player... and I DO appraciate that.

What I may do is just have less, more simpller text (maybe an add for my other web page :-) All of the info on the video really could go on the page anyway.
