Does anybody know if Movie Studio Platnum offers a way to save HD contents to the WMVHD format?

I think Vegas 6 offers it, correct?

Yes. Go to File/Render As, and in that dialog, select Windows Media. There are several HD templates in there, or you can press the Custom Button, and choose whatever settings you prefer.
