Windows Vista Beta 2

Anyone here playing with the latest beta from MS? I've installed and and I'm having problems with DVDA 3c. Vegas 6d is working just fine.

DVDA 3c is causing an access violation in dvdarch30.exe. I had problems installing it at first but finally got it to install. Maybe just a bad install?

Vista's own DVD Maker (think iDVD) is a joke. Haven't gotten it to burn a DVD yet.

EDIT: I installed Vista 64bit - currently running XP 64bit which DVDA had no problems installing or running under.

You're braver than I am. I have Vista Beta 2 64 bit in a double boot with Win XP x64. If I could get Vista to run for more than 30 minutes without locking up, I might consider installing Vegas and DVDA. Vista is a long way from going final.

I've had a couple of blue screens but for the most part after getting the video and sound drivers install it's been fairly stable - it is beta so I do expect something to crash and burn.

Actually DVD Architect is one of the only applications which simply refuses to run - at all - in Windows Vista Beta 2. Vegas runs; CD Architect Runs, but neither of them can access the media manager. It's not a big deal for me, since I can drag and drop source material from Windows Explorer.

But DVD Architect won't get past the splash screen without crashing. Obviously some tightly-bound code there to XP's ways.

I have Vegas Video running great and the funny thing is the prior vista build wouldn't run VV for nothing but DVDA ran just fine. Now I can't get DVDA to register, I have the correct serial number in there but it doesn't want to accept it.
