Hey Rockit,
I have the Delta 66, using the W2K WDM
drivers in XP with no problems whatsoever. I have found
from using XP for a while now, that any W2K compatible
driver will work fine in XP.

Just to be clear (after I searched the Forums)...

With a Delta 44/66 card under Win XP, can you select more than the default input channels, yet (using either MME or WDM drivers)? Last I heard back in April on this topic the answer was to wait for Vegas Audio 3.0 or some new drivers from http://www.midiman.com

Right now, I'm considering on upgrading from Vegas LE to the Vegas 2.0, and unfortunately I'm headed to SONAR if I can't get multiple input selection under Win 2000 or XP.

Thanks!

Right now Vegas only uses Classic Wave Drivers under 98se,Win2k,XP and ME.Im running Win2k and I have the MOTU-2408 (v2.0 Win2k/XP drivers)with Vegas Video 2.0g and im running 8 analog in/outs. I think or hope that will be one of the new features of Vegas 3.0 Some sound cards give you both CWD and WDM, I don't know about the Delta cards.

Hello,

That's not true, There might be something wrong with your settings, Because I'm using WinME and I can use any combo of assignments I want. I can assign 4 busses to output analog 1&2 and 4 busses to SP/DIF out.

Correct, under Windows Me, I can select inputs 1, 2, 3 & 4 in Vegas LE.

I cannot do this when I boot into Windows 2000 with my Delta 44 using the "older" 5.12.1.9 drivers, due to the limitation of only seeing a stereo input pair, as documented on http://www.midiman.com/drivers.htm. I need to upgrade to 5.12.1.20 to see if that helps, but the driver uninstaller blue screens my system.

Don't use the uninstaller, I upgrade mine right over top of the others, and the version numbers come up right in the Delta Mixer/Control Panel.
