I am running WinXP Home. Downloaded the demo first, ran fine. Finally bought the full version. No problems, with the exception of a couple of minor bugs that others have noticed using other Windows versions (MPEG files in media pool crash in thumbnail view, minor stuff).

I would be more worried about things like your capture hardware and speed of various components in your system, like CPU and hard disk. I would suggest downloading the demo version, it is fully functional except the MPEG stuff is disabled, and you get a watermark on any AVIs that you create. Very useful in making this kind of evaluation.

I have WinXP Pro. Premiere 6 seemed to have a lot of problems after I upgraded but VV3 has run flawlessly.

I am running WIN XP Pro and VV3 running great. Much more solid than other versions of windows I have run it on.

I have not been able to crash it and I can usually crash anything!
