windows xp disable hotkey setup

i hit something on accident while editing in VV and it turned on hotkey setup (now visable as a tray item)

how do i turn this thing off!!

I have no idea what you are calling a "hotkey" setup. Try right-clicking on the tray icon to see if you have options. Does it disappear when Vegas closes? Do a ctrl-alt-del to bring up the task manager and see if it shows up there.
