Windows7 64 and Vegas9 64 - fileIOsurrogate 32

Hi,

I happen to notice a render was going slow - and I wanted to see what was going on with Task Manager (will soon be moving to i7 so want an idea of what the cores will add etc.)

I had expected to have Vegas9 taking 90% or so of the CPU ..
but I noticed that a lot of CPU and memory are being used by
" fileIOsurrogate " what is even more interesting is that it seems to be a 32 bit program.

Is tihs normal ?
Would this slow down the speed by being 32 bit?
What exactly does this file do?

Thanks
allen
