Why is it that with Quicktime Pro 6 on the system, Vegas won't automaticly update the encoding to include the new Quicktime features? All I get is Quicktime 5 options in Vegas.
Also, is there any kind of manual to describe what the different settings control in the Vegas Quicktime settings? For instance, in the Streaming tab with "prepare for streaming" checked you get Optimization settings of ... Fast Start / Fast Start with compressed header / Hinted streaming.
What are the differences there and why would you not want to go ahead and compress the header all the time. Plus with the "hinted streaming" option you get a whole other configuration panel with options that aren't obvious what they do.
Anyone know where this information can be found?
