I am not familiar with the "free add on wizard audio plugs and the effects". Is there a website to peruse the specs or download? \
Do other audio Fx plug-ins work and display satisfactory?

Im not familiar with them either, just upgraded to 18 and it was a free add on download, dont have any idea if they are worth even having, but what the heck wanted to check them out.

The Wizard plugins seem to be a MAGIX product as per https://www.magix.com/int/music/audio-plugin-union/wizardfx-suite/ . I have never heard of them before or have used them, but the compatibility info towards the bottom of the Wizard webpage shows that they work with Vegas Pro. But ... as I understand it Vegas Pro does not as yet support VST3. So on the possibility that you are attempting to open the VST3 plugins, it would a good idea to make sure that the VST2 versions are selected via Options/Preferences/VST Effects (tab) - they're usually identifiable by being located in a Program Files (x86) folder (as against VST3 effects which are usually in a Program Files folder). If not there, use one of the search fields on the VST Effects window to direct Vegas Pro to the appropriate VST2 folder in Program Files (x86) - this could be a folder named VSTPlugins or Steinberg.

Thanks for the link @Dexcon, I will check them out when I can, however most of the other Magix plug-ins do not impress me in sound and/or UI.

Yes, Vegas Pro does not currently support VST-3 plug-ins.
