WMP 9 avi problem

hi,
after capturing i'm able to edit/preview within screenblast. i'm having problems playing these avi files in Windows Media Player/Real Player/Winamp. it is choppy. sound is broken. the sound acceleration is on basic. i notice when i right-click the avi file and click on Properties some of the files play normally in WMP. i have four avi files, which i captured and did not compress, and when i click 'properties' on them the only one that doesn't work is the largest one (335 mb). i don't think it is video codecs since it can work. is there something Sony Screenblast has that WMP lacks? i guess this is opposite of the problem where avi clips run fine in WMP but does not run in Screenblast.

thanks.

The default template for AVI renders the video stream as uncompressed. Your rendered files will be very large and the playback will be quite jerky (because the hard drive isn't fast enough to read every frame, so frames will be skipped).

Choose a different AVI template for rendering, such as NTSC DV (or PAL DV if you live in a PAL-region).
