Yep, that is a "feature" of the WMV encoder (not Vegas). You could "try" applying a sRGB->cRGB filter before the render, but I haven't tried it so I don't know if it would work.

Or, you could render a different format. Many options, but frankly I still use MPEG-1 for PP, because it is cpu friendly and will play on any computer in the world.
