WMV won't render without error

Every time I try to render a video, be it an avi or mpeg 1-2 I get an error before rendering can start:"An error occured while creating the media file 3.wmv. Error 0xc00d0bc2 (message missing)"

Can somebody here help?

3.wmv it look like it try to render in WMV format, but you telling the computer to render in avi or mpeg. If you try to render in wmv( the you need to have update the codec from microsoft. Check the template for correct settings.
