Won't Install - Says it can't write to TEMP directory

Here's what it tells me when I click on the download
Window name:Sonic Foundry Self Extractor

Unable to write to the temp directory in C:\WINDOWS.000\TEMPCheck that you have access to this directory.

Running WinME

Thanks for the bug report. We have identified the problem and it will be fixed in the next beta release.

In the interim, you may have luck with temporarily changing your temp folder to a shorter length, such as "C:\temp"

Hey Tery_25 or Ted_H,
I'm having the same problem you reported in your message. I can't open the program and I get the same message you got: "Unable to write to the temp directory in C:\Documents and Setings\(my name)\Local Settings\Temp\" What do I do to get things up and running?
