I have captured before succesfully with my Panasonic VDR-100(NOT widescreen)
dvd camcorder but I have run into what I think is a settings problem:
Using Vegas Movie Studio 4.0a , I turn on the camcorder after opening, and when I click on the capture icon, I get a preview window that is in a stretched-out widescreen format. I dont want wide screen and the only way I know how to change this is to reopen the program and click on new, under file in the capture screen. Then it asks if I want to save the current settings. I choose NO and the preview screen goes back to regular NTSC DV. Now here is where the problem is:After I've done the above, I click on the capture button and play the part of the mini-dvd that I want from the camcorder. It shows in the preview window and it seems that it is working but when I finish, instead of putting a file icon of the clip near the bottom of the screen, a window comes up that says: "there has been an exception; we do not know the reason for the exception"
