I really like the new GUI, delicate is a modest word. However, the FX and plug-ins follow the Windows' theme..?
My very first impression is the playback always is smooth because Vegas detects the flow and adjusts quality accordingly. So it is always smooth, which is more important than great fidelity. When paused, it gives the best preview quality it seems. A HUGE improvement.
Now I must find out why it resembles version 8 so much, where are the goodies hidden.. Apro pos hiding, there is still no way to hide / group tracks, which is relatively easy to implement, technically seen, and which would have helped me a lot. Ok, now back to Vegas!
