Workflow question

Hi,

When I have worked with other NLE's I have had a function called 'select after playline' where I put my playline on a clip, press the button, and everything to the right is selected.
This way I can put something in between two clips as I move along the timeline.

How can I get the same result in Vegas? I know that I can zoom out so that I have the whole TL vissible and then lasso the clips that needs to be moved, but is there another way too?

T.i.a.

Well, the first answer may be too obvious, but would right click/Select Events to End work for you? If you need all tracks to move, try post edit ripples under the Edit menu.

Thanks Tony,

The first one works for one track, but the ripple does not work for this. I found out, that if I selected (shift + click) the next media in other tracks and choose 'select events to end' it affects all tracks. Thant's kin of ok if nothing else is possible.

Try turning off the auto-ripple and using the Post Edit Ripple from the Edit menu. Select the All Tracks, Events, Markers ... option.

I haven't used the v7 Ripple yet, so I don't know what has changed.

Good luck!
