Hi,
I am in the middel of editing my first real project in Vegas and it runs ok so far. One thing have I found that I cannot find out. My workflow to a start is basicly this:
I have a 60 min. DV file I put on the TL.
I play back from start and find cut points and stop
I press S to split the clip
I find the other cut point and press S again
I mark the clip in between, press delete and F for ripple delete.
The challenge that I face is this (maybe hard to explain in writing, but I try)
At first the clip is marked / highligted and the 'S' works. Sometimes when I reach the outpoint and want to 'S' again the clip is no longer highligted. I need to select it again, but when I do this, the playline moves to where ever I click, and my outpoint is gone.
Buttom line: am I doing something wrong here, or is there another way to do this better?
I can of course cut a bit to the right and finetune afterwards, but I was just wondering if something else could be done.
Hope I made myself clear, else I have to shoot the editing :)
/Ulf
