workin in vegas, editin' in sound forge!

who can help me?
i record a vocal file in vegas.
now i'll use some sound forge editing tool.
something like reverse , noise gate, etc.
after do that, i save the file and come back to vegas to
continue my working. but when i listen the vocal track with
the music track don't look good.i need to undo my sound
forge editions.
w h a t c a n i d o ????

when i'm working in cakewalk , it creates a tool-copy of
the file , and i can undo this operation.

what about vegas?

Allways make a copy of an audio file before you edit it.

sometimes I backup entire directories before I do changes.

Sound forge is not Vegas it is an external editor as
CoolEdit.

Thank you Alex for help!

I'm sorry to say that if I need to make a backup to be an undo of a
Vegas tools, it's not an intelligent idea about a Sonic Foundry's
professional software.
