I want to use Vegas to edit clips that were captured on a Mac using a Pinnacle Cinewave card. I have the CineYUV codec for Quicktime on Windows. But what is my best bet? Should I convert them to uncompressed first and then edit? Or should I convert to DV, do my edtiting, and then reconnect to the original clips and then render?

Vegas should retain the 4:2:2 quality of the Cinewave clips no matter what I do, right?
