Vid looks grea, Randy. If I might offer one small suggestion? The audio is very abrupt on the site, when you arrive at the home page it's very loud and jarring, IMO. Even a slight rampup would be less jarring.

Thank you Spot for pointing the volume problem out. I fixed and made all the pages about 50% lower.

Watching that still affects me in a most powerful way. That's just a rough, insane thing to see.
(I'm definately not saying it shouldn't be seen, though. I believe it should be. It's just intense.)

My purpose for writing is to address a comment you made concerning a “flash” video clip re: 9-11 appearing on the Blow the Trumpet website. We appreciate very much your comment and want you to know we are NOT trying to exploit this horrible tragedy with this video. The truth be known we have suffered a great personal loss on that day. Additionally our site contains several videos as well as links containing video tributes to September 11th. We are profoundly saddened by these events and it is our prayer this will never happen again. Although that is highly unlikely.
We have a BOOK addressing the horrible events of 9-11. We have included it in hopes that you will see how serious we think this event truly was.

I think DGates mistook your enthusiasm for the application you were using as insensitivity to the subject matter. Had you posted a link to a website about puppies, I'm certain the response would be different. Anyway, interesting work. Just trying to steer the thread from politics to Vegas.

This being a Vegas site, I think it's cool to show a good application of Vegas and related technology, regardless of the agreeability level of the content (it seems to me that the end of the world has been proclaimed to be near since at least the mid-1800s).
Anybody with Dreamweaver MX 2004, make sure you're registered before the end of the month to get the free Flash Video Kit. Very nice implementation, will cost $50 otherwise. It includes a Sorenson Squeeze Lite that is quite useable.
