Would to stitch jpegs together

Anyone know how to 'stitch' .jpg files together with the ability to easily control the duration of how long each jpeg is displayed? I am in the process of having an inground pool constructed, am taking a picture of the job site every 30 minutes (via automated webcam software) until the job is complete (approx 6 weeks), and want to stitch (link them together back to back) the captured .jpgs together to show an animated construction summary .

I can import all the .jpgs into Vegas Movie Studio, but looking for a way to easily control the display duration so each jpeg displays for about 300ms (approx 1/3 second)

I am guessing that it can be done in Vegas Movie Studio, but have not been able to figure it out..

Appreciate in advance any assistance.

Thanks

Chris

I think if you can set your still image length this way (before you import the photos). Options-preferences-editing tab. On this tab you will see still image length. Enter your new still image length. Save. Import your pics. Their length/duration will be set to your new number.

Another option is to import them, group them all together, hover the pointer over the edge of the end till you see a line with dots, press the control key and hold while left clicking the edge and drag the edge toward the beginning. Tthis works both ways, so for example you have a slide show you want to last the length of a song, you could drag the group to the end of the song and they would all proportionally stretch out - or squeeze in.
