Read the posts about PSP effects and thought the folks with PhotoImpact might like to try it...if they haven't already:
Run the Still Image Sequence script in Vegas to make your JPG or PNG files in a folder.
In PhotoImpact:
Open Quick Command Panel (View>Tool Bars & Panels> Quick Command Panel
Select “Painting” (Comic Book Effect)from drop down menu
Select All
Select Watercolor
Select Highlight Midtone Shadow to lighten dark areas

Click on blue Batch Task Icon
Select Source Folder
Select Source Type (JPG,PNG, TGA, etc.)
Select Destination Folders
Select Save to this folder and close
Press OK

Vegas: Import Still Image Sequence
File>ImportMedia
Import Media Box.Look In> Folder
Right click on first still image (000)
Then move cursor to the “Import Media” banner
And left click. If you left click on the first still image,
Vegas will only render that one image.
Go to bottom left hand corner and
Select “Open Still Image Sequence”
This will make an AVI with all still images.
Click on “Open”
Properties box will open.
Name your AVI file.
The default Field Order is Progressive. You can change that
If you want.
Click on “OK”
Vegas will automatically place the AVI in the Media Pool.
Try all the effects...this is a blast!
