Wow what a DVD

I have made several back up type dvd's for my own use with this program but the other day I edited and made a DVD for a customer of thier wedding. The footage was shot by a relative using two cameras a hi 8 and a digital 8. I made a 1 hor and 28 minute video in the DVD-r format. I had four chapters in the project 1- In the beginning (Photo montage of Bride and Groom growing up) 2- The wedding service 3- the reception and 4- funny outtakes from before and after (the wedding party decorated the church and the reception hall the day before) I put this completed project on VHS tape and on DVD and I gotta say the DVD was the best I have ever scene. All capture was through a firewire card, all editing was done in VV 4 and Dvd Architect. The Bride cried tear s of joy when she came to the house and saw it. It looked unbelievable and the sound (ac 3) out of my 200 watt system was great. After spending two unbelievable lousy years with Pinnacle Products (studion 7 and 8) I could not believe how easy it was to complete this project.

I hope you're not referring to the bride here... ;)

Sorry - couldn't resist. I know it's in poor taste, but it just JUMPED out of me!

Anyway, congratulations. The road from camera to DVD can be a very bumpy and hazard filled one, and it's a great feeling to make it all the way through. The guys at SOFO have sure made it a lot easier than it was just a few months ago.
