Ok, I have Sound Forge XP 4.5f, just downloaded the update
because it didn't recognise my smartandfriendly cd-rw
drive. It sees it now, but when I go to write to a blank cd-
r I get a message to insert a writable disc after the Lead In writing
stage. It says the
disc in the drive is read only. The discs work just fine
with a different application i use to burn cd's, but the Cd
Architect portion of Sound Forge is giving me this problem -
any ideas?

This is an edit to the above message a few days later - now I have
found that it asks me for a writable disc ( after it takes a heck of
a long time writing the Lead In) and if I take the disc out and then
put another one in - it works!!!!?? the first disc is still usable,
just not in that session. What is going on?
