write to DVD grayed out

I would like to write out a captured file to DVD, but the write to DVD option is grayed out? Why is this? I have the trial version of MS installed. Is this why? Should I render to a file and then use something else to create the DVD?

The trial version doesn't include the MyDVD burning software.

the trial version doesn't include mpeg-2 rendering either, if i recall correctly.

correct - trial has no mpeg2 since it requires activation of the codec
