Wrong Aspect Ratio? Video being cut out on sides

I know I am missing something stupid. It always seems like it is a simple click of a button but here is my situation....

I made my project on Vegas and I burnt my dvd on DVD Architech. When I watch it on my computer, it is fine. When I watch it on a standard television, the two edges are being cut.. like it is zooming in to fit the frame.

I think it has something to do with the aspect ratio? But I am not sure and I have tried unchecking the "do not letterbox" when rendering, but I am still having the problem

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It has nothing to do with aspect ratio and everything to do with the difference between your computer display and your TV set.
What you're seeing is called overscan and has been a issue since the beginning of television.
Sony gives you the option to display "safe area" (action and title) markings on your preview window so that you can see what will fall outside of this area.

Thank you Mike.
How do I set up that display safe area?
Where is that located?

The Safe Area markers are enabled with a button at the top of the preview window. The button looks sort of like this:
