I know that the manual says you should use 32bit pixel format when working with x.v.Color - I was just wondering - does the AVCHD decoder in Vegas support the full 0-255 color range when working in 8bit mode and a x.v.Color source?
If I recall... years ago, when importing DV video into Vegas, the DV decoder in Vegas only offers 16-235 color range, and would have to apply a levels filter if one want to extend the range (or leave it if the goal was a TV (again at the time...)).
I am wondering if Vegas 8 and AVC is still the same if the source is shot with x.v.Color? Anybody here know?
