Nothing major, just a heads up.
I got called in to help another Vegas user who feared the worst. Three out of bunch of MXF clips were being rejected by Vegas as having invalid file formats or some such.
Thankfully they opened and played just fine on my system running V8. It would seem that V7 will mostly work OK with XDCAM EX MXFs, where the issue seems to arise is with clips that have spanned files and were merged by the Clipbrowser. I can't say that with 100% certainty as I didn't have any time to do a detailed investigation and as an upgrade to V8 would seem to solve the problem knowing the precise cause of the issue with V7 was of only academic interest.
Bob.
And why when I fix a typo in the subject line does it not get completely updated?
