This post is intended to let the community know about an issue Magix support claims to be addressing.
XDCAM HD422 files will Smart Render, but very slowly - maybe 1.5 faster than real time, which is very slow for zero recompression.

I just ran a test using a piece of content that was 15 minutes long.
An XAVC Smart Render of it took 3 minutes and 15 seconds.
XDCAM HD422 took 11 minutes and 30 seconds.
So, Smart Rendering of XAVC is much faster than XDCAM, even though there is no recompression occurring in either case.
