Ever since I started DVT in 2001, I haven't been able to print to tape under Windows XP, therefore I've always had to keep both Windows Me & XP on my machine. I preffer to edit under "XP", but I had to reboot to "ME" when it's time to Print to tape.

Now I can do it all under just "XP". I just installed Vegas 5.0d and "XP Service pack 2", I'm not sure if it's the combination or just the Service pack, but I can now print to tape from "Windows XP" using my Cheap Generic DV card with 4 sockets.

I remember that there are others out there with the same problem, I hope it works well for you too.
