XP or Win2000

Is there a performance issue between WinXP and Win2000 with Vegas (I use only the audio part)?
I use a motu (more than 10 stereo audio ports not possible with 2000...I know).
But only the performance differences.

Hello,

Windows XP Pro is like a Windows 2000 pro with SP4. Are the same OS, but don't have the WDM 16 bit bug (With WDM drivers the Win 2K truncates the 24 bit words to a 16 bits, without any dithering, is a KMIXER bug).
