XP Re-Install Questions

I'm re-installing XP on a Dell 3.0 HT Laptop.

A couples of quick ones...

1. Should I us the Indexing Service on this older machine?

2. Because, HDD space is limited, is it OK to deleted the "SONY Setup" folder following installation of software?

1) If you're referring to disk indexing on an older, slower machine, I'd turn it off. (I have it turned off on all of my machines...) While it may speed up searches using Windows' built-in search facility, it does affect performance. There are far better search utilities -- such as Everything for Windows

2) Yes, it is safe to delete this folder.
