XVid in Vegas?

Anyone know how to open XVid AVI files in Vegas 4.0? All I'm getting is the audio.

Alternately, does anyone know how to encode XVid AVI files into a format that Vegas can open?

You must have an old version installed (you don't use the Nimo pack do you? If so, tsk, tsk).

Versions newer than January 26, 2003 will work in Vegas.

Nope I didn't have the nimo pack, but it was an older Codec. Thanks for the tip that did the trick :)
