If I'm reading this right, you can now take HDV footage and author a real HD-DVD disk with menus. In addition, you can apparently burn that image with Nero to regular DVD stock, and an HD-DVD player will play it as HD-DVD.

Currently you are limited to 40 minutes playing time with DVD+R DL.
